Congregational Meeting/Potluck - The Transition Team invites us all to a special meeting and potluck following worship on Sunday, November 23rd. They would like to share with everyone a plan for the next several years and they will also be presenting a budget that has been worked up. Sign up to bring your favorite dish!

Plain City Christmas Gift and Food Basket - Here are important dates to remember:
Sunday, November 16: Begin collecting food supplies
Sunday, November 23: Families and their needs will be posted on a “tree” – you sign up to provide for a parent or a child.
Saturday morning, December 20: Food Basket packing and distribution at PC Presbyterian.

Alleluia! Christmas Party - Jim and Sara Burke have graciously offered their home on December 5th, from 7:00 - 9:00pm. Amelia will coordinate babysitting at the office with the teens. Save the date!

A New PIP in Town - Don Pearson has decided to take on coordinating the PIPs (Partners In Prayer). Starting in November, please send all prayer requests to him at don@alleluia33.org. If you would like to be included in the PIP e-mail group, please send him your e-mail address as well!

Newsletter input due – This month is going to fly by with the Monday after Thanksgiving being December 1st; so if you have anything you would like to be included in the December newsletter, please have it to me by Wednesday, November 19th!

Food Pantry Sunday - October 5th
High School Service - On October 14th, the high schoolers will be putting together care packages for the Alleluia! college students. If you would like to send notes, school supplies, or fun trinkets to our college students, please place items in the marked bin by the information table by October 12th.

Fit to do God’s Work - NEW exercise and fellowship opportunity. Monday’s and Friday’s at the church office at 9:30am. We’re watching Leslie Sansone’s walking DVDs.

Women’s Group Meeting - Thursday, October 9th at 7:00pm at the office.

Men’s Ministry Meeting - Saturday, October 11th at 8:00am at the office.

Adult Sunday School - Beginning September 14th. Come explore your God-given spiritual gifts. Not only will we determine what gifts the Holy Spirit has given each of us, we will look at them within the context of who God made you to be: your passions, abilities, personality and life experiences.

WOW Bible Study - Join us Monday nights starting September 15th at 6:30 at the office for our new study - No Other Gods, confronting our modern-day idols. We’re committed to helping the Plain City elementary school gather some extra supplies they will need throughout the year. Right now they need 36 boxes of tissues and 36 containers of disinfectant wipes (the kind used to wipe down surfaces). Look for the red bucket this Sunday to put your donations in. I have no doubt that Alleluia! will come through for the kids at PC Elementary.

Sunday School KICK OFF!!!! - Be ready for a morning of faith development the WHOLE FAMILY can participate in!!! Starting September 7th we will have Sunday school for adults, High School youth, Middle School youth, and Elementary children during the 9:15-10:15 hour before church. See you there!!!
