Rev. Stephen Kimm is our pastor. He has been with us since May 2006. He is a graduate of Wittenberg University and Trinity Lutheran Seminary. He and his wife, Gail, live in Plain City. They have three children. Here is his "storyline:"I am a pastor’s kid who loves sports, music and movies; who wanted nothing to do with the ministry. Yet, my God is one who pursues. HE pursues us like a lover wooing his beloved. His love is amazing, overwhelming, and never ending; and He won me to himself. My life is so radically different than if I lived it apart from Him. In Jesus, I have found purpose, worth and meaning. I was so won over that I have made it my life’s goal to serve Him by sharing His amazing love with others as an ordained pastor.My Current Sermon Series
Sandy Weldon is our administrative assistant. She has been with us since January 2007. She and her husband, Tim, live in Hilliard. They have two daughters. Amelia Shrum is our youth and family coordinator. She has been with us since August 2007. She is a 2007 graduate of Capital University, where she majored in Religion and minored in Social Work and Youth Ministry. She and her husband, Jon, live in Grove City. Here is how she describes herself:In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, Jonathan, being with family and friends, playing Ultimate Frisbee and Frisbee golf, cooking feasts, roller blading, and laughing! Youth Ministry has been and is a huge part of my life; it is my passion. I love working with youth of all ages. I enjoy tackling questions and faith growing opportunities.Amelia's Youth News Blog
Tony Katko is our worship leader. He is a 2007 graduate of Hilliard Davidson High School and is currently majoring in Jazz Studies at Capital University. This is what he says about leading worship at Alleluia!:When I started playing in the band I expected two things: to have fun playing music and to be taught spiritual lessons that would help me live my life. After a while, however, two more things took me by surprise. First, the people here at Alleluia make the church a friendly, welcoming, and loving environment. Second, I learned how great it is to use music to worship the Lord! Music has always been my passion, and a part of everything in my life. When we worship God through song, the songs become more powerful than music alone, because the music has a divine purpose.
