Making Sense of the Christian Faith – Over the next 8 weeks, during the Adult Sunday school class, which begins at 9:20am, we will be studying this book by David Lose. It is an exciting and inviting exploration of the major theological doctrines of the Christian faith. Written as a conversation in order to invite you to “jump into” the conversation, the text stimulates the reader’s thinking instead of attempting to persuade a particular point of view. Topics include Theology (God Talk), Creation, Sin, Covenant Law, Community, Incarnation, Atonement, Church and Holy Spirit, and Eschatology.
Bible Study – Resumes on Wednesday, January 12th at 7:00pm. Pastor Steve will lead us in a bible study of the gospel of Matthew.

With only several days to Christmas, let me invite everyone to worship with us at 7:00pm on Friday, December 24, 2010. As we gather at 6:00pm, we will have a time of fun, fellowship and snack food in our foyer, before worship. Our service will have Christmas carols, special music, the reading of the Christmas story, Holy Communion and a candle light portion where we will all sing Silent night. Join us to welcome, celebrate and worship our New Born King!

Advent Conspiracy – This year once again, we will be entering the Advent Conspiracy. It will begin on Nov 28 and we will have the same goals as last year: To worship more fully, spend less and give more. But this year let’s do it better by being intentional about it. Let’s make plans for what we can make loved ones. Let’s focus on finding new ways to spend less. From the beginning let’s make this season one of True worship! And let’s invite our friends and families to join us!
